Blida
It is located in the north of Algeria, with an area of the Atlas Mountains (Atlas Blida) in the south, and the plain of Mitja in the northern part. The city of Blida, the capital of Mitiga, is called the city of roses. It is bordered to the north by Algiers and Tipaza, to the west by Ain Defla, to the south by Médéa, to the east by Bouira and Boumerdès; it is an administrative and commercial center and is famous for its agricultural products and food industry, and has beautiful tourist landscapes. It is surrounded by gardens of orange vines, olive trees, almond trees, fields of wheat, barley, tobacco, and various kinds of fruits, and is famous for its production of floral extracts.
In general, the Atlas Bladi occupies a significant part of the total area of the state and forests cover an area of 65,253 hectares, which is 44.14% of the state's area.

The fjords of Al-Shifa with their waterfalls and the spread of the Maghreb monkeys, which are located on the national road number one, connecting the north to the south and Blida to Medea.
The Al-Daya lake, in the high mountains of Tmkida, is the highest lake in Algeria, and it is the destination for families to relax and enjoy the beautiful view.
These are the three main tourist poles of the state, and although many people know these areas, there are other treasures, which have begun to receive great attention that has recently begun to appear, whether from the local authorities or the inhabitants of the region, in order to create other areas, the most important of which are Sidi Salem in the commune of Bouarfa, Al-Daya Lake (the highest lake in Algeria) in the heights of the municipality of Ain El-Remmaneh, as well as the In the area of Nahawa, which was recently discovered in the same municipality, and also on Wednesday in the valley of Sonatro, there is a group of salt springs in the area of Muwailiha, amidst forests aligned with the valley penetrating the foothills of the surrounding mountains.

Blida has many industries, especially those related to locally available resources. The agricultural wealth of the Mitija and the presence of an integrated university pole represented at the University of Blida have favored the emergence and prosperity of the agri-food activity, such as the establishments Amor, Sim, Susimi for canning, pasta, mineral water, and others.
